Dear Friend,
I want to share a piece of my journey with you, because I know how confusing life can feel when you’re trying to figure out who you are and where you belong.
I always dreamed of studying abroad and working for a well-known company. I was fortunate to study in Canada, but after graduation, I didn’t start my career in tech. Instead, I worked in customer support and even in the food industry for a couple of years. I took odd
jobs just to make ends meet. During that time, I felt unsure of myself and started to believe that a technical career was impossible for me.
Then one day, a stranger gave me advice I will never forget:
“Set your goal, do your part, and don’t wait for the results. Your effort will never be wasted. Life opens the right doors at the right time.”
Those words changed me. I stopped worrying about the past or the future and focused on what I could do today. I decided that I would work in the field I studied, no matter how long it took. I started online training, studied day and night, and kept reminding myself: If others can do it, why not me?
Eventually, I received my first opportunity in tech. I kept learning, kept growing — and one day, my dream came true. I got the chance to work at Microsoft. It reminded me that timing may not always be perfect, but the journey still matters just as much as the destination.
I want you to know this: your life has purpose and meaning. Even when things feel heavy or uncertain, you matter more than you realize.
This week, try taking one small step toward something you care about — just one tiny action. Your future is still unfolding, and it needs you in it.
You’re stronger than you think. Trust your effort. Trust your growth.
Kind Regards,
Nidhi
